tool, and is backwards compatible with the host of diagnostic software written for its
predecessor.
The Bluetooth module included within the scan tool is a Class 1 device, capable of
line-of-sight communication at distances of up to 100 meters (300 ft), and the signal
strength is sufficient to enable close range communication through walls and other
